New Features

Tap and Tap

The Tap and tap component has been changed so that there is a check and retry option for scoring as opposed to instant validation.

Duplicate Content Authoring Components

Currently, if you want to have a new component with mostly the same content and settings as a component you already have on the page, you have to manually create a new component.

Now, all components have a "Duplicate" button that will:

1. Create a new component of the same type
2. Copy all of the values from the first component to the new component

Not all components are currently supported with this feature - if the duplicate button doesn't appear and you'd like to be able to duplicate that component, please get in touch with the development team.

Image Label Component

A new Image Label component is available. This new component allows you to upload an image and then draw squares on it.

Those squares can either be set up as a hotspot, where clicking it would display a modal, or it can be set up to require the learner to input an answer.

Updates to feedback form

The tutor feedback form has been updated with 5 new sections:

• Introduction
• Summative feedback
• Key Strengths
• Key Area of Development
• Next Steps

Recording reason for non-attendance

If a learner does not attend a Live Learning Session as part of their learning, you can now write attach a reason why they didn't attend.

This list of reasons can be edited on the Reference Data section of the system by those who have the requisite permissions

External Verification View

The External Verification View has been updated to include some additional tabs:

• Tutor Contact
• Contact History
• Contact History
• Curriculum Plan

Bootcamp LLS Signposting

Some learners have been slightly confused about where they should go to join their next Live Learning Session and have instead gone to the Classrooms page instead of the Course that the session is linked to. To aid those learners, a link has been added on the classrooms page to allow them to join the LLS

Bug Fixes

• If you attempt to extend an assessment that is no longer extendable, the system used to respond with a server error. Now, it will show a message saying that assessment is not extendable
• Correct issue if trying to reset password for a user that doesn’t exist
• Handle case if the current person is logged in as a user that doesn’t exist. This should in theory be rare, but could happen if the user was logged in and someone else deleted the account. In these situations, we log the user out.
