New Features
Enable Extension Requests for External Services
We have recently released the ability for learners to request an extension on the due date for each of their units. Currently, this feature is only available on Main EQUAL. This has been changed to allow learners who are on "external" projects to request an extension if:
- The learner is marked as an External Learner (that is, they initially appear on Main EQUAL and then are made visible to the Third Party)
- The project has the "LSA Services Provided by External" box checked
Crossreferencing Field
It is now possible to track whether Crossreferencing has been completed by a learner. This appears on the QA tab of a learner.
Add ability to relate courses to Main EQUAL courses
As part of a long running development to improve the efficiency of assigning learners to projects, it is now possible to mark a course as "reimplementing" another course. This is primarily useful for external projects where the tenancy has a slightly different version of the course (e.g. to remove TSN branding).
Cloning a course will automatically set this field, as we expect this to be the right approach in most cases.
Bug Fixes
- The IdentifyImage component does not show the image on tenancies when the tutor is marking them. This has been corrected
- Learner Groups did not appear when enrolling learners manually if one of the potential tutors for those groups did not have any courses. This has been corrected
- There existed a path where a learner could log into the system without passing a 2 factor authentication challenge through the placeholder enrolment process. This has been corrected.
