The EQUAL Dev team are planning a release on the 27th November during the day. There is no expected downtime for this release.

New Features

Branding update

Some sections of EQUAL use the old TSN branding. This has now been updated to use our new branding guidelines and correct some other minor issues. The primary changes:

• The background has been updated to the TSN Teal
• The "EQUAL" on the homepage has been updated to TSN Teal
• The EQUAL logo in the top right has been updated to a cleaner logo

These changes may not be immediately picked up by your browser if the existing images have been cached. You can either:

• Perform a hard refresh (usually by pressing Ctrl + F5)
• Wait until your browser cache is expired naturally - this may take a few days

Allow contact records to be transferred from TSN site

This release adds the ability for contact records to be transferred from the TSN backoffice to EQUAL. This will allow the contact history to viewable in the EQUAL system instead of having to check both TSN and EQUAL to see what information has been recorded in both places. Any attachments will not be copied between the two systems - if you need to access those you should access them from TSN.

The TSN backoffice will be updated in the near future to send this data.

Bug Fixes

• Update the learner support dashboard to include external learners. The existing implementation meant that tutors did not have easy access to a learner that was on an external project.
• The Classrooms menu item can be duplicated in some cases as part of the External Verifiers change in the previous release. This has been updated to prevent confusion.
• The "Check Answer" button was marked up incorrectly which may have lead to confusion for learners using assistive technologies. This has been corrected.
• The "First Date Of Learning" field could be set when a learner does not provide an answer but has moved to a different question. This has been corrected to only set it if the learner has input an answer to the question.
