The EQUAL Dev team are planning a release on the 9th February during the day. There is no expected downtime for this release.

If you've got any questions about the items in the release, please feel free to ask. Please feel free to share with any customers so they're aware of the upcoming changes.

New Features

Pulling attachments across to Bootcamp learners

In a previous release, we added the ability for the contact history to be copied across to EQUAL from the TSN back-office website. This release adds the ability for the attachments to also be copied across.

This requires work on both the EQUAL and TSN back-office website, so you may not immediately see contact attachments until both sides are deployed.

MFA reset process update

Our existing MFA reset process requires manual intervention from the development team. To ease the burden on the development team, this process has been added as a feature to the system. Users with the new "Multi Factor Authorisation Deactivation" role will be able to manually reset an MFA secret on the users page.

Please note that the system will ask for details of this MFA removal process:

  • A link to the request where the reset was requested
  • A reason why the deactivation has been requested
  • Confirmation of how the removal request has been verified.

MFA removals will only be processed if all details are provided. Primarily, the removal request must be verified using a second channel (that is, you should use a different method of communication to confirm that the request is genuine):

  • If a user emails in, you could contact them via Teams
  • If they have phoned in, you could send them an email

Bug Fixes

  • Update cases where a link to a learner on the learner search would lead to a 404 if the learner was an external learner
