Release completed, maintenance ended

Smoke tests have been completed, engineers are now monitoring for any additional errors.

Code deployment has begun, engineers are now performing smoke tests

The EQUAL Dev team are planning a release on the 16th April during the day. There may be a short period of downtime (less than 30 seconds) as part of the release - any user that receives an error should wait a few seconds before retrying their action.

New Features

Additional disengaged reason

This adds to additional disengaged reasons to the system ('Bootcamp – learner did not achieve positive outcome' and 'Bootcamp – learner is not contactable')

These are also now added to the Reference Data section so they can be changed by staff without support from the Web team.

Ability to transfer learners between sites

In some cases, an external learner might need to be re-enrolled on a different tenancy. This release will add the ability to re-enrol an external learner to any other external project or a project on Main EQUAL.

Initial implementation of AI marking

In a future release, we'll be providing the ability for assessors to use AI generated feedback for questions. This release adds the infrastructure around around this feature:

• Course can be opted in to have AI generated feedback. Text questions on these courses will have the option to generate a model answer
• Assessors can be opted in to use this feedback

The AI generated feedback will not be applied to a learner's submission automatically - assessors are encouraged to read the generated feedback and update as expected.

This feature is currently in an alpha state. We will be refining this feature during the coming months.
