The EQUAL Dev team are planning a release on the 13th June at Midday. There is no anticipated downtime for this release.

If you've got any questions about the items in the release, please feel free to ask. Please feel free to share with any customers so they're aware of the upcoming changes.

New Features

Move CSV Exports to be behind a Role.

In the transition of moving export functionality to be handled by the BI team this development adds the ability for an admin to download exports from Equal. This release initially won’t affect anyones ability to download exports but in time teams will be given the role which will remove their ability to download exports from Equal.

Update Whereby to use the Web Component.

All of our bootcamps are hosted using Whereby. The current functionality is handled through an Iframe and this development moves the functionality to use the Whereby’s Web Component. This will be behind a feature flag so initially you shouldn’t see any change to current functionality. People will be slowly opted into this new feature over time.

Bug Fixes

Add Invoice Required to Course and Bulk update.

Invoice Required was a field added a few months ago that is a required field when withdrawing a learner. Due to unexpected issues it was removed temporarily but will now be back with this update.

Issue selecting Gender when creating a new enrolment on Equal.

There was some unexpected behaviour when trying to create a new enrolment if you failed to correctly submit the form the first time. This update handles fixing all those issues as well as updating each of the select options on this form to be searchable and generally better user experience.

Update Retention to use Abstract Classes.

This Development is a refactor of existing code to prepare for undertaking development of the careers and progressions tab for a learner. No new functionality should be expected.
