New Features
Turnitin API Certification
We began the process to achieve certification from Turnitin for our integration with their API. This involved a series of key updates to meet their compliance standards, including proper URL encoding for filenames, ensuring file uploads include correct extensions, and passing our custom API implementation version number with each request. These enhancements bring us in line with Turnitin’s current expectations and also ensure secure and reliable operation of the API integration in future.

Bug Fixes
Turnitin Plagiarism report score bug
We identified an issue where the plagiarism report score was not being displayed correctly for an assignment after submission when a tutor had referred the assignment back with feedback to the learner. The report score will now correctly display the current plagiarism report score until the time when the learner re-submits their assignment when a new report score can be calculated.

Prevent auto-saving when impersonating a learner
We identified an issue where a tutor impersonating a learner at the same time as the learner using EQUAL could cause a learners assessment changes to be overwritten. We disabled auto-saving in the aforementioned circumstance so we should no longer see this issue occur.
