EQUAL Local Authorities

The list of local authorities available in the Project Profiler settings was out of date, and was difficult for the Engineering team to keep in sync with the TSN Website. In this release, the team have focused on making the TSN website be the source of truth for the list of local authorities (since the TSN website includes a mapping of postcodes to local authorities).

As part of this release, the Engineering team will update the list of local authorities in the system to match the list in the TSN website. In doing so, some Projects may use local authorities that are no longer available - Engineering will be in touch with the relevant teams to update affected Projects.

Updating list of question types for the new feedback tool

Engineering have been prioritising supporting questions that are used by the most courses for the new feedback tool. This release adds support for Text questions for v1 courses.

Adding the ability to set model answers for questions

For assessments, it can be useful to provide a model answer for a given question. In this release, we add the ability to specify a model answer in the content authoring tool.

Surface the initial due date for a submission

Previously, to see the initial due date for a submission you would have to go to the edit screen one by one. In this release, we display the original due date on the submissions tab.

Bug Fixes

• The new feedback tool had an issue where the autosave would interfere with the current cursor position. This has been corrected
• The new feedback tool uses a new component for inputting text when giving feedback, which was missing some functionality from the previous component. These have been added:
  • Auto-resizing
  • Auto linking
  • Adding the ability to underline text
